I’m 14 and go to grammar school. At some point, it was just too much at school. Math, English, German and especially Latin – I often felt overwhelmed. Although I tried hard, I couldn’t really keep up. My parents saw that I was putting myself under pressure. That’s why we decided together that I would get tutoring at Lernstudio Barbarossa.

What I liked right from the start: My tutor is really nice, calm and explains things really well. I can ask anything – and she quickly realizes where I’m getting stuck. This has helped me in Latin in particular, but I’m also doing much better in German and math now. I often used to have a bad feeling in English – that’s gone now.
My parents also think that the tutor is really good. And that’s true too. It no longer feels like I have to do everything on my own.

At school, there is often no time to explain everything in detail. In tutoring, I can ask all the questions – and nobody says it’s stupid. This has helped me to regain more self-confidence. I’ve also become more motivated because I realize that I’m making progress.
